The agency needed a ribbon pin in an exact campaign colour, worn on soft knitwear at public events, with the artwork still being adjusted late in the brief.
Artwork was redrawn for production at no charge and the enamel mixed to the campaign Pantone reference. Black nickel plating was used so the ribbon colour reads as the only colour on the piece.

Artwork, tooling, enamel or moulding, plating and assembly all run in the same plant, so there is one approval chain rather than several. The approved physical sample is the quality reference for the production run, and colour match, plating coverage, edge finish and fitting strength are checked before packing.
Packing is normally 100 to 1000 pieces per PP bag or small box, with custom packing available. For improper production the order is remade or refunded.
A 1.18 inch pin with the campaign colour recessed below the metal line, approved on a physical sample before the run.
The agency could sign the colour off in the hand rather than on a screen, and the pin could be worn on event knitwear without marking it.
