Keep the specification table
The factory specification table published on each model page is the reference for the parts on that vehicle. Quoting the model name and the table avoids the wrong part being shipped.
Source named components locally where possible
Where the specification table names a mainstream hydraulic or pump brand, the equivalent part can usually be sourced in the destination market rather than shipped from China.
Send photos with a fault report
Most upper-body questions are settled faster from a photograph of the assembly and the nameplate than from a written description.
Ask for drawings before modifying
Bodies built to a factory table can be modified, but cutting into a tank, a compactor body or a crane subframe without the drawing changes the load path.
Order wear parts with the truck
Seals, filters, blades and hoses on working equipment are consumable. Ordering them with the vehicle avoids the first service becoming a shipping problem.
