Exhaust Flanges Clamps And Adaptors Explained
The small parts that decide whether an exhaust joint seals, and what to keep on the shelf.
Why The Small Parts Matter
Most exhaust leaks are joint problems, not pipe problems. A flat sealing face, the right gasket and a clamp that actually holds are what keep a system quiet. This catalogue carries flanges, adaptors and clamp parts alongside the pipes for exactly that reason.

Bolted Flanges
Bolted flanges are cheap, familiar and tolerant of rough handling. They need even torque across the pattern and a gasket that suits the temperature. Their weakness is corrosion at the bolt holes, which is why plated and stainless flanges outlast plain steel.

V-Band Style Joints
A V-band clamp pulls two machined rings together and can be separated quickly, which matters on parts that come off regularly for service or tuning. It costs more and is less forgiving of a damaged sealing ring.

Adaptors And Header Flanges
Adaptor flanges let a builder join a header to a system that was never designed for it, which is routine on swap projects. Keeping a small stock of common header flanges and adaptors turns a stalled build into a finished job.
