Every Stage And What Can Go Wrong
Each stage below is a decision point where projects usually stall.
Assess the pack
Problem. Not every item needs the same cushion, and copying a competitor's material wastes paper.
How we handle it. Start from what you are protecting: surface finish, weight and how the item is boxed. Scratch sensitive goods usually need a laminated honeycomb or a soft cushion pad; void fill needs volume rather than grip.
Choose the material
Problem. Honeycomb, paper bubble and cushion pad behave differently and are not interchangeable.
How we handle it. Honeycomb grips and wraps; paper bubble gives an even sheet for interleaving and lining; cushion pad gives soft bulk for void fill. Samples of each can be run on our machines from your own paper.
Match a machine
Problem. A machine that is faster than your line only ties up capital.
How we handle it. Machine width and speed are chosen from the reel width you buy and the number of parcels per shift, not from the largest model in the range.
Trial run
Problem. Paper from different mills tracks and cuts differently.
How we handle it. Machines are test run with customer paper before shipment so the web guide, tension and cutting are set for the stock you actually buy.
Install and commission
Problem. A machine that arrives without drawings or the right voltage sits idle.
How we handle it. Machines ship in wooden export cases with the power supply built to the destination country, and commissioning questions are handled over WhatsApp or email.
Run and maintain
Problem. Cutting moulds and blades wear, and the cushion quality drifts.
How we handle it. Keep paper dust off the cutting mould, check cell formation on the first metres of each reel and hold spare blades and moulds for the pattern you run.

Is paper cushioning as protective as bubble film
For most goods yes, because the honeycomb cells grip the item instead of just padding it. Paper is heavier per square metre, which is the trade off to check against your freight cost.
Can I keep my existing packing benches
Yes. Honeycomb and cushion rolls run from a bench dispenser, so the change at the bench is the material rather than the layout.
