Great products, trusted partner
Pacific Links International combines best in class manufacturing capability with cost-effective offshore manufacturing centers strategically located throughout the Pacific Rim and North America. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of offshore manufacturing options for cost-effective first article or low-rate production components, and to overcome bottlenecks in the supply chain.

CAPABILITY
CNC Swiss Turning Precision Machining
A specialised machining process for highly accurate, complex parts with tight tolerances, particularly suited to small intricate components such as fiber optic connectors, ferrules and other precision telecommunications parts.
A Swiss-type lathe is a turning center developed for the Swiss watch industry, designed to turn small, complex, precision parts. The part moves in the Z axis while the tool stays fixed, the opposite of a conventional lathe.
Bar stock is advanced through a guide bushing so only the portion being machined is exposed. The material is held tightly, deflection is virtually eliminated and accuracy increases, which allows complete machining in a single operation.
CAPABILITY
Custom Injection Molded Components
We provide custom injection molded components with a world-class tool development process, at both small and large scale production.
We maintain a fully staffed mold tooling factory with mold design software, an engineering team and the CNC and EDM machines needed to produce precision molds. Tool engineering and design follows a stringent gate process: every component is reviewed for ease of production and mold flow analysis before the tool is manufactured.
Design work runs on Siemens NX, UG NX 12.0, AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Moldflow, so the molding process can be simulated and optimised before production begins.
Quality is verified with three-dimensional measuring equipment and altimeter measuring equipment, and the mold injection machines are calibrated to deliver consistent results. Facilities include CNC milling, precision milling, high-speed carving CNC, CNC lathes, EDM spark machines, mirror spark machines and wire cutting, medium and slow.

CAPABILITY

CAPABILITY
Fiber Optic Enclosures, Panels and Modules
A comprehensive range of fiber optic enclosures designed for cable management and network efficiency.
The line includes fiber optic slide trays, single mode fiber optic cassettes, fiber optic sliding panels and blank fiber optic adapter panels. Each enclosure is built from top-tier industry materials for durability in demanding network environments, and ships with cable holders, mounting screws and cable ties.
Engineered for high performance, these enclosures support structured cabling and comply with ISO/IEC 11801, which makes them suited to data centers, telecom networks and enterprise applications.

CAPABILITY
Turn-Key Fiber Optic Harnesses and Assemblies
A premier manufacturer of turn-key fiber optic harnesses, multi-fiber assemblies, pre-assembled optic cassettes and cartridges, enclosures and patch panels. Fully compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 and specialising in OM1, OM2, OM3, OM4 and OM5 assemblies.
Our two production sites in Vietnam are each equipped to handle substantial volumes. The first produces up to 3 million simplex and duplex jumpers and 240,000 multi-channel pre-terminated assemblies a month. The second contributes 1.5 million simplex and duplex jumpers and 100,000 multi-channel assemblies a month. MTP and MPO termination capacity runs to 200,000 terminations a month.
Engineering and testing sit at the heart of this. An R&D team of more than 50 professionals runs development and design change management, supported by product tooling, process development and verification capability for OEM and ODM work. A pilot production line handles new product design and manufacture, process verification and performance evaluation, and an extensive array of optical fiber connector test equipment verifies reliability against GR and IEC standards.
CAPABILITY
Ceramic Ferrules and Sleeves
Precision components used in fiber optic connectors to align and hold optical fibers in place. Made from zirconia, they are what keep insertion loss low and signal quality high.
Our ferrule and sleeve products are regarded as worldwide international standards. Fiber breakage during insertion into the back opening of the ferrule is drastically reduced by our original molding technology. Zirconia ferrules and sleeves suit high end performance and quality across a range of fibers, connectors and device terminations.
The ferrules divide into four categories: single-mode, multi-mode, capillary and custom, alongside other custom zirconia products in shapes outside the fiber optic industry. They are designed at our head offices in Tokyo, Japan and manufactured in our own factories under a thorough production and quality control system, with every ferrule inspected for outer diameter, inner diameter and concentricity using our own inspection measurement gauges and methods.
Our Low Loss Ferrule achieves concentricity accuracy and inner diameter tolerance well beyond standard single-mode zirconia ferrules. Proprietary injection molding technology reduces fiber insertion loss for minimal signal degradation, and in-house molding, precision secondary processes and rigorous inspection keep the price competitive.
