Four storage rules from Ando’s own knowledge page.
Sintered magnets arrive magnetized unless you order otherwise. The storage page lists four practical rules:
- Keep magnets away from electronics and control circuits.
- Store dry. Humidity attacks sintered NdFeB even under a coating if the coating is damaged.
- People with metal-sensitive skin should avoid prolonged contact; stop if irritation appears.
- Keep magnets away from magnetic media — cards, hard disks, tapes and similar.
Add the workshop rules every magnet factory already uses: keep pairs of large blocks on spacers, do not let two large faces slap together, and ship with magnetic-isolation packing. Ando notes that air and express shipments may need extra magnetic-inspection fees; sea and rail are the usual bulk routes.
