The Marks Tophome Holds
Tophome has obtained GS, CE, RoHS, LFGB, UL, ETL, FDA and CB approvals for most of its products. Which certificates are current for a particular model is confirmed in writing before an order is placed.
Europe
CE is the entry requirement and GS is what German retail buyers ask for on top of it. LFGB covers the food contact parts - the crumb tray, the jug, the reaming cone - rather than the appliance as a whole.
North America
UL and ETL are the two listings North American retailers accept. FDA is the food contact side. These apply to the 100-120 V builds, which is why the dual rated bodies in the toaster range matter for a split programme.
CB and the Rest of the World
A CB certificate shortens national approval in a long list of markets outside Europe and North America. If you are shipping to several countries in one programme, ask for the CB report first.
