Badge & Patch — Questions We Are Asked
What artwork do you need for an embroidery patch?
A vector file or a clean image plus the finished size and thread colour references. Fine text and gradients need to be reviewed at the finished size — we will advise where the design needs simplifying.
Which backing should we choose?
Sew-on is the most durable and the standard for garments that are washed; iron-on suits lighter applications; hook-and-loop suits badges the wearer removes.
2D or 3D — which should we use?
2D is flat with colour separation between raised areas and suits type-led logos. 3D sculpts contours into the badge and suits emblems and figures.
How many colours can a rubber badge carry?
Multi-colour moulds are normal. Send the artwork and we will advise how the colour separation should be handled at the finished size.
Can you develop this item from a sample we send?
Yes. Development is normally based on given ideas, samples and mutual recommendations, with the technical aspects taken into consideration. Send a physical sample or clear photographs with dimensions.
Can this ship together with the rest of our trims?
