What the Pre-Opened Bag on a Roll Machine Unwinding Improves

The unwinding system on the pre-opened bag on a roll making machine has been updated to handle three different film feeding methods. This allows the machine to process various input formats without requiring separate equipment, reducing setup time and increasing production flexibility.

One Tube Reel Film Feeding

A single tube reel in sleeve form can be fed directly into the machine. The system handles feeding, punching (round hole, corner, handle banana, Mexico hat, etc.), heating sealing (single or dual sealing lines), perforating, pre-opening, and rewinding in one continuous process.

Two Sheet Flat Reel Film Feeding

For flat reels, the machine includes two additional side heat sealing units and cutting blades. These components slit the film longitudinally on both sides by 5 to 10 mm, converting the two sheets into a single tube form before processing continues with punching, sealing, perforation, pre-opening, and rewinding.

One Layer Bigger Width Sheet Film Feeding

This method is commonly used in Europe and the USA. A wider single-layer film is fed into the machine, folded in half using a triangular folding frame (also called an A frame), then sealed on one side to form a tube. The tube is then processed for pre-opening and rewinding.

Machine Flexibility Across Feeding Types

The pre-opened bag on a roll making machine supports all three feeding types. Users can select the most suitable input method based on their available material and production needs, enabling seamless operation across different packaging requirements.
