Insect Netting Changes Nothing Except Pests
An insect net house is a greenhouse structure covered by insect net on the roof and all four sides. It prevents insect damage while leaving the inside environment the same as outside, with no sunlight control and no protection from rainfall. Hail and bird netting has to be tensioned over a frame and anchored properly, because the load arrives all at once. Grammage and mesh size are chosen for the fruit size and the local hail risk, not for the lowest price per square metre.

Weed suppression under the crop saves more labour than most growers expect, and mulch film changes soil temperature at the same time. Our non-woven fabric runs 17 to 30 g/m2 in widths to 6.6 m and roll lengths to 250 m.

Decoys Help Where Netting Is Impractical
Where full netting is not practical, realistic decoy models deter pigeons, rabbits and other animals. They work best when moved from time to time and alongside netting under heavy pressure.

Yes. Most of our nets are quoted by width and roll length, for example 1 to 5 m by 50 m or 100 m.
Does insect netting reduce yield by cutting light
Insect net is designed to keep the inside environment close to outside conditions. If you need light or temperature reduced, that is shade net, which is a separate product.
What mesh stops the smallest insects
Finer mesh blocks smaller insects but restricts airflow more. Tell us the pest you are targeting and we will match a mesh from our production range.
