The job decides the body
Municipal sanitation
Compactors and sweepers sit in spec-limbo for months while landfill fees climb. Buyers need a rear-loader or hook-loader that matches local bin standards, with a spare-parts list in English and a build slot after deposit.
Water utilities and contractors
Drought, pipeline outages and construction sites need drinking-water or dust-control tankers that do not contaminate the load. Food-grade stainless and measured spray bars matter more than a brochure photo.
Sewage and drain contractors
A single-purpose vacuum truck means a second vehicle for jetting. Combined jet-vac bodies on ELF/FTR chassis cut the fleet and keep city drains open.
Construction and quarry
Mixer drums, dumps and truck cranes have to match axle limits and boom reach for the site. Custom body size, PTO and a published lead window after deposit are the real constraints.
Fire and civil defense
Apparatus procurement is slow and spare parts are worse. Water tankers, foam units and aerial platforms on GIGA/FTR chassis, built to the tender spec.
Fuel and aviation logistics
ADR-capable bowsers and aircraft refuelers cannot be improvised. Double-compartment tanks, dispensers and 4x4 mountain chassis are factory options.

Factory
Suizhou body plant, not a trading desk
Chengli Special Automobile Co., Ltd. opened in 2004 inside Chengli Automobile Industrial Park. The plant covers more than 67 hectares with 62 workshops, 16 assembly lines and about 3,000 people. More than 2,000 production machines and 200 test machines sit on site.
Chassis partners named by the factory: Isuzu, Dongfeng, Sinotruk, Foton, FAW, JAC, Shacman, JMC, BeiBen and IVECO.
