The SS banding is made of stainless steel 201,304 or 316.

The 201 SS banding is developed to conserve nickel and provide the best balance of cost to mechanical properties and performance,the 201 SS is harder and stronger than either type 304 or 316SS.I t is corrosion resistant except in the most demanding environments.

The 304 SS banding is the most widely known and used type of SS,it offers excellent corrosion resistance to a wide range of conditions.

The 316 SS banding offers superior corrosion resistance to chemicals,salts acids and marine atmospheres.
