Ask how the hinge is built and request a sample that has been opened and closed repeatedly before you approve the design.
Battery Charging And Run Time
Battery capacity, charging time and the number of sessions per charge are the numbers your customer service team will be asked about.
Type C charging is now expected in most markets. Confirm the capacity in mAh and the rated session length rather than a general claim.
Audio And Extra Functions
Bluetooth music, built in tracks and voice prompts add cost. They also give retail staff something to demonstrate.
Decide early whether audio belongs in your price tier, because it affects both the housing and the certification scope.
