The GNR Oil-Less Platform

GNR oil less compressors are capable of delivering a range of flows and pressures. Standard models are designed to 600 psig. As the combinations of inlet pressure, discharge pressure, required flow, we encourage you to contact us for assistance in sizing the proper SF6 gas compressor for your application.

GNR Oil-less compressors have been developed for the exacting requirements of safe, reliable industrial gas compression service, such as SF6 gas, Helium, Hydrogen, noble gas.

These units can be configured for compressing gases at many varied suction and discharge pressures.

GNR compressors employ up to four oil-free single acting cylinders on a “S” type crosshead design crankcase.

Heat exchanger, compression cylinders and crankcase are all air cooled.

The cylinders and aluminum heads are lightweight and easily removed.

The crankcase is made by aluminum for decrease the gross the weight.

The compressor has a pressurized sealed crankcase option to allow for Suction pressure up to 9 bar.

GNR Oil-less compressors are the ideal match for small flow, low and medium pressure gas compression applications.

Oil-Free by Design

Up to four oil-free single acting cylinders on an “S” type crosshead design crankcase, with a gas-tight design and special sealing.

Air-Cooled Throughout

Heat exchanger, compression cylinders and crankcase are all air cooled — no cooling water circuit to install or maintain.

Serviceable in the Field

The cylinders and aluminum heads are lightweight and easily removed. The crankcase is made of aluminum to decrease the gross weight.

Which gases can a GNR oil-free compressor handle?
GNR oil-less compressors have been developed for the exacting requirements of safe, reliable industrial gas compression service, such as SF6 gas, helium, hydrogen and noble gas.
Are the compressors really oil-free?
Yes. They are complete oil-less piston compressors with a gas-tight design and special sealing, so no lubricant enters the gas stream.
What discharge pressure do the standard models reach?
Standard models are designed to 600 psig. The published model chart lists a discharge pressure of 51 bar for the GNRD-6, GNRS-25, GNRS-30 and GNRX-80.
How high can the suction pressure be?
The compressor has a pressurized sealed crankcase option to allow for suction pressure up to 9 bar.
How are they cooled?
Air-cooled throughout — heat exchanger, compression cylinders and crankcase are all air cooled, so no cooling water circuit is needed.
What capacities are available?
The standard model chart runs from about 6 Nm³/h on the GNRD-6 up to about 80 Nm³/h on the GNRX-80, with motor power from 2.2 kW to 22 kW.
