Aluminium Tube & Oxidation
Our own aluminium pipe production line and oxidation workshop.
Why it matters for a rotary airer
An airer arm is an extruded section carrying a cantilever load at full extension. The arm sections across this range - L25 x W12, L25 x W15, L29 x W19, L30 x W28 and L36 x W30 mm - are what separates a 40 m airer from a 60 m one, and they are made in house rather than bought in.
The pipe line
The factory runs metal pipe production machines, injection machines and clothes line machines. Centre poles run from D32 to D45 mm, with wall thicknesses specified against the line length the pole has to carry.
The oxidation workshop
Anodising is done on site. For coastal and high-rainfall markets this is what removes the corrosion path that ends a powder-coated steel airer's life.
What this means for a buyer
Section changes and finish changes are scheduling decisions inside one plant, not a chain of subcontractors. That is what makes a 30-40 day lead time realistic on a specified order.
Ranges this applies to

Rotary Airers
Outdoor rotary clothes dryers in powder-coated steel, galvanised steel and aluminium, from 25 m to 60 m of line.

Camping Dryers
Portable rotary dryers on tripod or square stands, 16 m to 20 m of line, for campsites, balconies and rented homes where nothing can be dug in.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to set up?
Production lead time is 30-40 days. Artwork approval, colour matching and first-article approval sit in front of that and depend on how quickly proofs come back.
Is there a tooling charge?
Colour changes and print changes carry none. A new moulding or a handle logo insert does - tell us the annual quantity and we will quote it.
What do you need from us to start?
Vector artwork, a colour reference, the annual quantity, the destination market and the pack format.
