Overview
A high speed computer controlled network analyser for quartz crystal, ceramic resonator and network analyser measurements, supplied as a PCIe card that is half the length of the S&A 250B-1.
Saunders moved away from the traditional instrument concept and condensed the hardware onto a card inside the PC using SMD technology, with the software carrying the very high speed measurement work. Typical measurement speed is 1.5 times faster than the S&A 250B-1.
General parameter measurement takes under 100 ms, a 100 point DLD measurement takes about one second at 10 ms per point, and a typical spurious measurement takes about 0.3 seconds. Above 1 MHz, short, 50 Ω and open calibration takes only 30 seconds.
