Overview
A uniquely designed gloss meter that measures curved surfaces as easily as flat ones, works on any glossy or matt product, and handles small parts as easily as large panels, without holding the sample by hand.
The sample is placed over the measurement aperture in the centre of the test plate. Four adjustable posts hold the sample steady so readings stay stable. Measurement can be triggered by the foot switch or by the button on the front of the instrument. Holding the foot switch or the button enters continuous mode: move the part until the gloss value peaks, and that peak is the gloss value of the sample.
Data can be sent to a PC or a connected printer. Built in statistics evaluate variation and quality within a sample or a batch, and data downloaded over USB can be analysed and stored in NOVO-SOFT, with readings and reports exported to MS Excel.
