Honeycomb paper is described on SNDA product pages as an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to plastic bubble wrap. It is easy to stretch, soft and flexible, and provides cushion protection without scratching the surface. Finished rolls are used to pack fruits, flowers, ceramics and glassware.
A kraft roll is die-cut on the honeycomb paper forming machine, then stretched into an angular honeycomb / mesh structure. After stretching, length extends about 1.4–1.7 times on the source copy. Adjacent cells lock together, so tape is often unnecessary.
Specify SD-PH600 or SD-APH600 for forming, HQ 600 one-roll or two-roll for sheeting, and SD-PC900 when the pack is a bottle or fruit sleeve.
