Food Flavors & Spices
Food flavors and spices are grouped into sweeteners, thickeners, and dehydrated vegetables. Sweeteners on the published list: stevia extract, monk fruit extract, sucralose, acesulfame K, aspartame, xylitol, erythritol, dextrose monohydrate, and allulose. Thickeners: xanthan gum, apple pectin, citrus pectin, carrageenan, and CMC. Pack: bulk or customized.
Beverage and food brands buying monk fruit or stevia usually also need a thickener. Keeping both lists with the same supplier cuts a second qualification cycle.
