Six Tests We Run Ourselves

Testing sits inside the factory, so a build can be measured, corrected and re-measured without waiting on an outside lab.

Luminous Flux

Integrating-sphere measurement of the total light output of each build.

Light Output

Beam and output check on finished lamps before packing.

Battery Life

Runtime testing of battery packs and cells used in the lamps.

PCB Testing

Electrical testing of driver boards before assembly.

High & Low Temperature

Climatic chamber testing at high and low temperature.

IP67

Water and dust ingress testing for sealed models.

Published Data

Figures You Can Quote Against

Every product page on this site publishes the same set of figures: item number, light source, rated output, beam range, battery, working time, housing material, finished size and weight. Where we hold it, carton data is published too — packing, quantity per carton, carton size and gross weight.

That means a buyer can compare two of our models, or one of ours against a competing offer, on identical terms, and can work out freight cost per piece before an order is placed.

Quality and Compliance

Which approvals does Ecogreen hold?
BSCI and ISO9001 approvals at company level. Products are manufactured with CE, RoHS, REACH and PAHS approvals.
Do you have your own testing laboratory?
Yes. Testing is carried out on site in our own laboratory rather than sent out.
What do you test?
Luminous flux, light output, battery life, PCB testing, high and low temperature performance and IP67 ingress protection.
How is waterproofing verified?
Models with a stated ingress rating are tested in our own IP67 test rig. 38 models in the catalogue carry a declared waterproof rating.
Can you supply approval documents?
Certificate copies are available on request — email [email protected] stating the item numbers and the market you are shipping to.
Are output figures measured or estimated?
Rated output and beam range published on each product page come from our own measurement of that build.
