Cable gland is also called the cable head. Its main function is to make the line unblocked, keep the cable joint sealed, and ensure the insulation level at the point and joint, so that it can operate safely and reliably. If the seal is not good, not only will oil leak cause the oil-impregnated paper to dry up, but moisture will also penetrate into the cable interior, reducing its insulation performance.
