The whole assembly has no loose parts and it does not require special tool to install it. DEC is a conical wedge clamp comprising of
  • An open body
  • An inner sheath consisting of two insulating plastics (inserts) ensuring the clamping of the messenger cable without damaging cable insulation.
  • An unloosable stainless steel flexible wire rope equipped with a movable thimble and two sleeves compressed at the end of the wire rope to be locked at the clamp body.
  • The body, inserts and thimble of the Dead End Clamps are made of high strength reinforced thermoplastic, U-V radiant material which was very high mechanical and climatic properties

Description of Dead End Clamp for ADSS Conductor

The Dead End Clamp for ABC conductor is designed to anchor insulated service lines with 2 or 4 conductors to the pole or wall. The ASC tension clamp is composed of a body, wedges and removable and adjustable bail or pad.The PA series Anchor clamps are design to supporting the neutral messenger,the wedge can be self-adjusting. Pilot wires or street lighting conductor are led alongside the clamp. The self opening is featured by an integrate spring facilities for easily insert the conductor into the clamp. Standard: NFC 33-042.

Material of ABC Tension Clamp

The ABC tension clamp body, the main mechanical component is manufactured in heavy duty weatherproof synthetic material. The wedge, made from synthetic material exerts necessary mechanical pressure in retaining the cable in the body of the clamp. The pull hook is made from anti corrosion rod. For anchoring isolated coaxial and unipolar cables.
