- Regarding aluminum profile light track for linear lighting, we often suggest High quality aviation aluminum. Because it has good heat sink material and better for lighting ventilation.
- According to the design plan, and the shape of your space, decide which profile to use and what dimension of the light track to use. Please check the follow aluminum track profile we have. Finally we can cut the aluminum profile light track to piece as the dimension you need. When you place the order, please make a note.
- There are many different shapes or patterns you can create. And choose the right profile track. The following designs for your reference.
- we often suggest to use 1.5-2.0mm thick profile light track, because it is thick enough to bear the weight of the magnetic track lights. And also have enough good ventilation. However, you also need to take the ceiling load bearing into consideration.
- Of course, sometimes we need to consider the cost and how many led track lights you will install. Maybe 1.0mm thick profile track is more fittable. So it depends.
- 4-wire magnetic light track will be the main stream.Since it has better electrical conductivity and heat dissipation.
- Now we have matt black or matt white finish available and other color need to remake. You can choose the color as you like.

- before installation. Different profile has different installation methods. There are totally four ways:
- How to install magnetic linear track: recessed, surface mounted, suspended. However, if you install by yourself, we suggest surface mounting or suspending. Because there two methods are very easy. No need tools to make a slit on the ceiling.
- Secondly, if you choose the recessing method, make a groove on the ceiling follow our installation guide. Or fix the surface mounted light track on the ceiling. Or fix the suspension cable on the ceiling.
- Thirdly, if you are not the expert, we suggest you to invite an electrical engineer to help you with the installation. Since the whole course needs at least two people to complete. Then you can install the light tracks on the ceiling as your plan or design drawings.
- Fourthly, calculating how many total power the place needs and choose the kind of
- magnetic track lamps
- you need.
- Finally after install the magnetic track lights, you can turn on them and check if the lighting can meet your requirement. You also can move the magnetic track lamp to the suitable places freely.
