KEWO designs, develops, manufactures, sells and services its own drives. Two production lines, a digital quality control system, bar code tracking and ERP sit behind every unit.
Each piece of KEWO product is tested at full load with a motor before it leaves the factory. The manufacturing line has been ISO9001 approved since 2009.
All KEWO AC drives use Infineon IGBT modules. High end components are what keeps the failure rate low on drives that run continuously.

Inside The Factory
KEWO moved into its current factory in July 2015. There are two modern production lines, a digital quality control system, a bar code tracking system and an ERP management system. The AC drive assembly lines, the automated VFD test desks and the warehouse for 0.75 kW to 500 kW units are all shown on the factory page, photographed as they are.
Every drive is tested with a motor before it leaves the factory. All KEWO AC drives use Infineon IGBT modules.

It removes the need for a grid connection and for a battery bank. DC from the PV array is converted directly to AC to drive the pump, and output frequency tracks the available sunlight through MPPT. Water is stored in a tank rather than electricity in batteries.
The AD series is a high performance vector control inverter with open loop vector, closed loop vector and V/F modes and covers around 90 percent of industrial applications. Customers use it in place of Siemens, Schneider, ABB, Allen-Bradley and Emerson drives.
