Low Quantity And Real Custom Work Usually Cannot Coexist
Most silk suppliers make you choose between a low order quantity and a custom print. We own the digital print machines, the dye house link and the sewing floor, so one metre of fabric or ten printed scarves runs on the same line as a bulk order.
The Minimum Problem
Mills quote hundreds of metres per colourway. Stock fabric here moves from one metre and a custom printed design starts at ten pieces.
The Print Problem
Printers that take small orders usually print on polyester. Our digital machines print on real mulberry silk at widths up to 190 cm.
The Consistency Problem
When printing, dyeing, sewing and packing sit in different factories the sample is never quite what ships. Here they sit in one group.

The Numbers That Actually Decide A Silk Order
One team handles artwork, printing, dyeing to a Pantone reference, sewing, hand-rolled hems, inspection and export paperwork. Samples can be arranged at any time and production runs 1 to 10 working days.
- Suzhou JL Silk Co., Ltd is the export arm; the mill behind it is Suzhou Guoyun Silk Factory.
- The group has been manufacturing scarves and garments since 2005.
- A research and development team was set up in 2015 to develop new patterns and products.
- Suzhou JL Silk Co., Ltd, the export trading company, was established in 2017.
- The group invested in a digital print factory in Hangzhou and extended the range to silk eye masks, pillowcases, bonnets and scrunchies.
- Digital printing runs in house on fabric widths of 90 cm, 114 cm, 140 cm and 190 cm.

Send PDF, AI, JPG, TIF or PSD artwork at 150 dpi or above. If you have no artwork, our designers can develop a pattern or you can pick from the in-house library.
Base Fabric
Choose weave and momme weight: chiffon, habotai, twill, crepe de chine, charmeuse, georgette, crepe satin, stretch satin or organza.
Printing Or Dyeing
Digital print on our own machines, screen print through the partner factory, or piece dyeing to your Pantone number.
Cutting And Sewing
Our own tailors cut and sew. Scarf edges are hand-rolled or machine hemmed to your specification.
Inspection
Experienced staff inspect every piece by hand, then iron and pack it.
Shipping
DHL, FedEx, UPS and TNT are the carriers we use most. You can nominate the mode and the forwarder.

Digital printing workshop. The ink-jet heads run smoothly enough to hold fine detail and bright colour, and samples can be arranged at any time.
Fabric storage. Plain silk is held in a range of colours, thicknesses and widths, ready for custom dyeing to a Pantone number.
Sewing department. Every tailor on the floor has years of experience, which is what keeps hems and seams consistent across a run.
Plate making and sample room. Tech packs are built to the customer's requirement and a sample goes out for approval before bulk.
Inspection, ironing and packing. Goods are checked by hand before they leave the building.
Display and staging area. The floor is kept clean and orderly so finished goods are not contaminated before packing.

What Is Your Minimum Order Quantity
Usually 1 metre for fabric and 1 piece for a scarf, bag or garment. For a custom printed scarf design the minimum is 10 pieces.
Can I Get Samples Before I Order Bulk
Yes. Free samples are offered and you normally cover the postage. We can also make a sample to your own pattern, colour and size so you can check quality before bulk production.
Can You Print On Fabrics Other Than Silk
Yes. Our own digital print machines run silk, cotton, linen, tencel, rayon and polyester. Screen printing goes through a nearby factory with 15 years of experience.
Can You Match My Own Colour
Yes. Send the Pantone number and we dye to it.
What Artwork Files Do You Need
PDF, AI, JPG, TIF or PSD at 150 dpi or higher. If you have no artwork, choose from the patterns our designers have developed or brief us and we will draw a new one.
How Long Does Production Take
Products are made in 1 to 10 working days depending on the process and the quantity. Sales are online 24 hours for updates.
