From Biomass To Finished Oil

A complete line is not four machines bought separately. Each stage has to hand the next one a feed it can actually process, which is why the chain is engineered as one system.

Extraction

Supercritical CO2 or cold ethanol at -75°C takes the actives out of the biomass.

Winterization

Chill, hold and filter to drop waxes and lipids, then recover the ethanol.

Distillation

Short path distillation under deep vacuum separates and refines the fractions.

Rotary evaporator, glass reactor and short path distiller for trials and control.

The Factory

Two Factories, One Engineering Team

Better Industry owns one factory for plant extraction systems and one factory for laboratory equipment, with a land area of 45,000 square metres. That includes six single-storey workshops, a high-rise office building and an independent two-storey R&D centre.

The head office is in Jiading District, Shanghai: 20km from Hongqiao high-speed railway station and Hongqiao airport, 60km from Pudong international airport.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does BETTER need from me to quote a price?
Two things: the raw material you will process, and the production capacity you need per batch. Machines from 0.5L to 200L are supplied, and a larger capacity machine can be customised according to your request.
What material can you process with this machine?
The CO2 extraction machines are widely used in extracting hemp oil, wheat embryo oil, fish oil, tobacco essential oil, Arteannuin, Sundrops oil, Gingerol, Pepper haematochrome, Hops extract and Agarwood oil, among others.
Can we do an extraction test before purchasing?
Of course. An extraction test can be run with your raw material, and videos and pictures of the test are sent to you for reference.
Can the CO2 be reused?
Yes. CO2 can be used in circulation.
How long does it take to produce the machine once I place my order?
The process flow of a supercritical CO2 extraction machine is complex, so production generally takes about 60 workdays. Every procedure and detail has to be inspected strictly, because Better Industry is responsible for the quality of the machines its customers run.
How will my order be packed, and can you provide the installation service?
Plywood case. The machine is assembled and tested before packing, and installation service is provided.
