Several catalog items share the same one-line process note: “Plastic ABS CNC machining molding” or “Plastic PC CNC machining molding.” That is the factory telling a buyer the first article is a machined plastic sample, not an injection-molded production part.
ABS shows up on the bumper, lampshade, and color-ultrasound housing. PC shows up on the navigation panel, air-conditioning panel, and ventilator housing. Those two resins cover most interior and exterior appearance models an automotive or device team sends for a fit check.
The bumper photograph is the most useful process picture on the site: a technician standing at a bench with a full-size yellow ABS skin. If your RFQ is an appearance model of similar scale, that is the cell that will run it.
When the sample freezes, the same company lists plastic mold design and manufacturing. Do not assume the CNC sample price includes steel — ask for a separate tool quote.
