UL, CE, RoHS and IEC standards for chargers
Charger safety language clusters around a few families of standards. IEC 62368-1 is the current safety standard for ICT equipment and is the reference behind many national marks. CE marking for chargers usually pulls in the Low Voltage Directive, the EMC Directive, and RoHS. UL or ETL listing is the North American retail conversation. FCC covers emissions in the US.
