Euro II and Euro III Emission Standards on Chinese Used Trucks
Emission standard decides where a truck can be registered and which engine parts fit it. A short explanation for importers.
Why the Standard Appears on Every Listing
HOWO dump truck stock covers Euro II to Euro III which means the same model name can arrive with either specification. The emission standard is what your destination market checks at registration so it belongs in the first conversation not the last.
What Changes Mechanically
The standard is not only a badge. Fuel delivery and engine management differ between generations which is why we stock Euro II engines in both old and new model form Euro III common rail engines and EGR engines as separate items. A cylinder block or a main bearing bolt is not automatically interchangeable across standards.
Higher Standards Also Exist in Our Stock
Some units run to a higher standard. The Shacman mixer truck chassis we list uses a Weichai WP8.340E51 engine built to the Euro V emission standard with a maximum output of 340 horsepower at 250 kilowatts and maximum torque of 1400 newton metres between 1200 and 1700 revolutions per minute.

Not practically. The difference runs through fuel delivery and engine management. Buying the standard your market requires is cheaper than trying to convert a truck after import.
Do You Stock Engines for Both Standards

Does a Higher Emission Standard Cost More Fuel
Not inherently. Later engines are generally tuned tighter. The bigger variable on fuel burn is how the truck is loaded and driven.
